Day Trips You Can Take From Tuscarawas County
Day Trip Ideas:
Sometimes you just need to get away for a day, exploring a new area and discovering the unfamiliar. Tuscarawas County is a great, affordable, and safe place to live, work, and play, but that doesn’t mean we are far away from arts, culture, or fun. Of course our county has plenty of things to do, but sometimes you need a change of scenery. We get that.
When you think about it, Tuscarawas County is in the perfect location. We are right along the I-77 corridor which makes travel north and south extremely convenient. In addition to that, we are within 90 to 100 minutes to three major cities: Cleveland, Columbus, and Pittsburgh. We have access to world renowned museums like the Columbus Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Andy Warhol Museum, or the Cleveland Museum of Art (which is also free!).
With larger cities, there are a plethora of restaurants, bars, shopping, and other activities available to do—all within a short drive! When you’re on the hunt for something new to do, check out these places:
